Do I need an account to use TidyWallet?

No. TidyWallet has no account and no login — you open the app and start right away. Your data lives on your device.

Is it free?

Yes, TidyWallet is free to use with some limits (on how many records, goals and accounts you can create). You can unlock everything with a one-time purchase — see below.

What is Lifetime Pro?

Lifetime Pro is a single one-time purchase (not a subscription, no free trial). It unlocks unlimited records, goals and accounts, all Smart Insights and daily tips, recurring income & expenses, bill reminders, and CSV export. You pay once and own it for life. (iCloud backup & sync is free for everyone — it's not part of Pro.)

How do I restore my purchase?

Because Lifetime Pro is tied to your Apple ID, you can restore it on any device. Open the app → paywall or Settings → “Restore purchases”, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. Restoring also brings Pro back after you reinstall the app or use “Erase all data”.

How does iCloud backup & sync work?

It's free for everyone — no purchase needed. TidyWallet backs up your data and keeps it in sync across your devices using your own private iCloud (under your Apple ID). It's automatic and can be turned on or off anytime in Settings. If you edit on two devices at the same time, the most recent change wins. We operate no servers and never receive your data — it goes straight from your device to your iCloud.

Is my financial data private?

Yes — that's the whole point. Your financial data is stored only on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud). We have no account and no backend, so there's nothing on our servers to leak. We show no ads, don't track you, and never sell your data. Smart Insights are computed on your device from your own data — no raw transactions ever leave it, and there's no third-party AI involved.

How do I erase all my data?

In the app, open Settings (the gear icon, top-right) and tap “Erase all data”. This permanently wipes everything on the device and, if enabled, the copy in your iCloud. Your Lifetime Pro isn't lost — it's tied to your Apple ID, so you can restore it anytime.

Which devices are supported?

TidyWallet is available for iPhone on the App Store. iCloud backup & sync works across your Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID.
