ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TidyWallet ("TidyWallet," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the TidyWallet mobile app for iOS (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
LICENSE TO USE THE APP
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
NO ACCOUNT — LOCAL DATA AND iCLOUD
TidyWallet has no account or login. Your data is stored on your device. Backup and sync through your own Apple iCloud account is free for every user and optional; that data resides in your iCloud under your Apple ID and is subject to Apple's terms. You are responsible for your device, your Apple ID, and keeping your own backups.
LIFETIME PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE
TidyWallet Pro is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("Lifetime Pro"). It is not a subscription: you pay once and there is no recurring charge, and no free trial.
Billing through the App Store: Lifetime Pro is sold and processed by the Apple App Store through RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple account. We never receive or store your card or payment details.
Restore: Because the purchase is tied to your Apple ID, you can restore Lifetime Pro on your devices at any time using "Restore purchases" in the App. If you erase your data or reinstall the App, your purchase can be restored — it is not lost.
Price changes: We may change the price of Lifetime Pro for new purchases. A change does not affect a purchase you have already made.
Refunds: Except where required by the App Store's policies or by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the App; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; upload malware or attempt to probe, scan, or breach security; or use the App to infringe the rights of others.
FINANCIAL INSIGHTS ARE NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE
The App's Smart insights and any budgeting calculations, summaries, or suggestions are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are generated on your device and are NOT financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. We are not a financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional before acting. The App may contain inaccuracies, and automated content can be incomplete or wrong.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DATA WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE OR SYNCED WITHOUT LOSS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN BACKUPS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIDYWALLET AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP, OR USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App relies on third-party services, including Apple (App Store distribution, payments, and iCloud storage in your own account), RevenueCat (one-time purchase management and restore), Aptabase (anonymous product analytics), and Sentry (anonymous crash reporting). Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
TERMINATION
You may stop using the App at any time, and you can erase your data from within the App at any time (Erase all data), which wipes the local data and the iCloud copy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we submit to the courts of the Judicial District of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live: if such rules apply, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and those mandatory protections continue to apply to you.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
